Dear Members - Despite the extremes of heavy rain and temperatures warmer than Turkey, our volunteer leaders have offered interesting walks going up and down and around Pirbright, Sheepleas, Newlands Corner, Crowthorne Woods, Oakhanger Common, Rotherwick, Crondall, Leith Hill, Hawley & Bramshott.  Our annual trip to Bosham expertly led by Ray was as good as ever, with fish n chips for lunch making it a traditional seaside day out.  The Itchy Bosom ferry was fun when the Cream Mary ice cream boat came alongside ……… 

And in May what a treat Malta & Gozo was for 18 hardy Ramblers.  With glorious sunshine, intrepid explorers were challenged with demanding walks along the coast and inland, with two special ones being the Victorian Lines on Malta, and the Salt Pans in Gozo.  Despite being small, both islands had so many churches there was nearly enough for one every day, all superbly decorated in Baroque style.  A truly fabulous holiday.
